BALI

Top 10 Beaches in Bali and Gili

Bali has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Though the Island isn’t that big it contains many spectacular spots for you to enjoy the sun and leave all of your problems behind. All of the beaches on this list are free to visit, but keep in mind that sometimes you will have to pay for sunbeds or parasols.

After travelling around Bali for a month I concluded that even though trip advisor is a great tool, the best way to find the golden spots is simply to rent a motorbike and drive around the island. Don’t be afraid to ask the locals for advice on where to find beaches where you can be completely by yourself.

If you like surfing or snorkelling Bali is the place to be and can offer everything from expensive diving courses to cheap private surfing classes.

Once you go to Bali, be prepared to fall in love and always have a place you wish to return to.

Number 1.

Nusa Dua Beach

Located in the Southeast of the island, Nusa Dua has been attracting tourists for decades.

It’s located in a calm area where big beach hotels and resorts are seen around every corner. The water here is perfect for snorkelling, and you can choose to either bring your own equipment or rent from one of the many stands close to the beach.

Number 2.

Kuta Beach

Kuta Beach is for those who want to feel the vibe of the busy town of Kuta, where restaurants and bares are just a street down from the beach. Kuta is a party place for anyone looking for a good time. What better way to end a day of surfing with a drink or 2 just minutes away from the beach. As everywhere in Bali, the water is Cristal clear and the palm trees get you into the vacation vibe straight away.

Number 3.

Padang Padang

One of the most famous beaches in Bali but still not that crowded. If you go in the low season you will have no issues with too many people. This beach is the mecca for surfers, so if you feel like trying out your skills, this could be the perfect opportunity.
