Road Trip Sydney-Perth

In January 2017 I went on a road trip from Sydney to Perth in Australia. In my last post, you can read the notes from the first couple of days. This is what happened after we arrived in Melbourne: After a couple of days on the road, we finally hit the first major city after Sydney, Melbourne. The feeling there was completely different to Sydney, where everything is very busy and fast paced. I’ve always enjoyed that soft energy more, and you can feel that Melbourne is a smaller city than Sydney. After not seeing any new faces in past days we were all excited to stay in a hostel and meet some new people. Said and done. Not more than 2 minutes after entering the hostel we had a plan to go out with a group of really nice guys who were staying in our room. Most of them were English […]

Notes From My Notebook

The Notebook – Personal These are notes taking directly from my notebook I was writing in while going from Oslo to Sydney. 1/1- 2017 Started from the bottom, now I’m here. After almost 2 years in Oslo going from being broke, without a job, and living in a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people, to where I am now. With more money in my account than in a long time, in the airport in Dubai waiting for my connecting flight to Sydney. My second home. One of my favourite places in the world that I have missed so much during the last 2 years after leaving it. I’m shit scared and excited at the same time. Sydney is just the beginning of a journey which I don’t know the outcome or length of yet. All I know is that I left the security behind me. A good job, good […]

How travelling opens up to new opportunities.

I’ve been travelling all my life and met people from all over the world with all kinds of different backgrounds. It has made me less judgmental and more open-minded towards other people and new things. Well, everyone knows that’s what happens when you travel right? 😉 I have realized how many opportunities are actually out there that you can’t see unless you jump off the cliff and leave security behind. When you are at home and have a job and a routine, you meet the same people, eat the same food, watch the same TV-show and do the same things, you become blind to what the world has to offer. It sounds harsh, but it’s true. Though being in one place for a long time is really comfortable and safe, and sometimes that’s what we need. To know exactly what tomorrow will be like. The thing is, that if you never step […]

Going to Sydney – Personal Blog Chapter 1

I’m gone. I left a really nice, good life back home to go and explore what the world has to offer. I have always loved traveling, and I just can’t seem to be in 1 place for too long. My desire to experience new things brought me to  Sydney, Australia. I arrived 4 days ago and it has been amazing going back to one of my favorite places in the world. Since then I have been meeting up with old friends, been to the beach and done a lot of thinking. I really want to start working on my own projects and develop a community online. I have a lot of ideas and I could just jump right into it. For some reason, though, I just need some more time to really build up the energy to engage in something big. I have been running for a very long time, and […]

Straight Outta Comfort Zone Challenge

G’day Mates. It’s a marvelous Friday evening in Oslo and it feels like I’m in the middle of a balloon that is being filled up with more and more air, only to explode at any given moment. By explode, I mean that I will experience new things, be in new places and get out of old patterns. It’s exciting, but scary at the same time. Hence, I have decided to start a 30-day challenge to push my limits and have more courage to do new and exciting things. I call it the Straight Outta Comfort Zone Challenge, which is exactly what the purpose of this challenge is. To become more comfortable outside of my comfort zone and expand it. Why? I’m going out traveling by myself in  6 weeks, and that is a scary thing in itself. While I’m traveling, I want to get my business going and start creating content […]

What to do in life

How To Know What To Do In Life

Finding out what to do in life is figuring out who you are in life. I have been thinking a lot over the years about what to do with my life. When I say a lot, I mean a lot! What is my purpose? What should I do?  How should I do it? My guess is you have had some of these questions appearing as well. After a great deal of failure and chasing my own tail, I have realised something profound. In order for me to figure out what to do, I need to take it one step back and realise who I really am first. Wow, that might seem like an even bigger question to answer, but it doesn’t have to be. What I already do on a day-to-day basis defines who I am,  so instead of figuring out what I should do in the future, I simply thought […]

Unfiltered Thoughts – Insecurities around Traveling Alone.

I want to combine really good content posts with posts like these. Unfiltered thoughts that I’m having about traveling and lifestyle. Here it goes, no filters or overthinking about what to write: I really believe in doing what I love every day and choose how to live my life. But it’s not always that easy to know what my passion is. My dreams can vary from day-to-day, and sometimes I feel really confused. Will it be worth it going out into the world alone and finding ways to get around? Or should I wait until I have everything sorted out and a steady online income before I go? It’s dangerous to be too comfortable. Dangerous for the mind. I don’t want to get stuck in a place that is not the ultimate happy place just to be safe and know that money is coming in every month. Sometimes I hate money […]
